Greetings! Hope your new year is off to a good start.
Wanted to let everyone know to stay tuned to this site in the coming weeks as my first entry will be posted soon. I'm planning on compiling a seasonal diary of sorts for our beloved Rockmoor. As a very fortunate permanent resident of the ranch I have the unique opportunity to witness the subtleties of the seasons firsthand and how they fit into the big picture. Rockmoor possesses a wealth of natural history within its fence posts and I'm continually learning about its many different stories. The more we, as a family and a community, know about this very special piece of land and the plants and animals that make up its fabric, the more ownership and responsibility we will yield. Protection of this special resource is my ultimate goal and how to make informed decisions on how to manage it.

This is definitely a work in progress, having never posted a 'blog' before. So no doubt I'll be making this up as I go along. I welcome all comments and suggestions. So stay tuned....
